VPSA Membership

Membership in the Virginia Peninsula Sportsmen's Association is currently $20.00 a year and is open to all law abiding sportsmen that live east of the Blue Ridge Mountains as defined in the Virginia Hunting and Trapping Regulations issued by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. Membership is by invitation only, meaning that a member in good standing must submit the name of individuals who are interested in joining. This is done not to exclude membership but so that a persons character as a law abiding sportsman can be attested too.

Members who join the VPSA while living in the eastern region and move from this area may retain membership after moving as long as dues remain current. A great way to become a member if you currently don't know a member is to come to the Annual Eastern Region Contest held in September of each year and offer to help and get to know some of the members. Many join this way! Membership is currently hovering between 250 and 300 members and growing. All membership money is used to sponsor the Annual Big Game Contest and all members, officers, directors and chairpersons are volunteers. No one is paid in any manner and all proceeds from membership or dues is used to promote VPSA business or put on future contest. The new member form for individuals invited can be found here.
